Activist Marat Bayazov was placed in a temporary detention center of the Main Internal Affairs Department of Bishkek for 48 hours. Attorney Erkin Sadanbekov told 24.kg news agency.
According to him, the activist is charged with attempted staging of riots.
«At the same time, he did not attend the meeting of the Committee for the protection of Kempir-Abad reservoir,» the attorney said.
The Committee for protection of Kempir-Abad reservoir was created on October 22. It includes activists, politicians and MPs.
